The 4th meeting of the FNH-RI Consortium took place on 8 July 2026 via Teams. The consortium, led by prof. Ing. Adriana Kolesárová, PhD., Vice-Rector for Science and Research at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, reviewed the progress made since the previous meeting and agreed on the next steps towards the preparation of joint proposals and the next ESFRI cycle.
The main topics discussed included:
- the national node pages, with updates received from France, Hungary, North Macedonia, Greece, Norway and Italy now published on the website
- the map of participating countries, will be updated once input from the remaining national nodes is received
- Horizon Europe Cluster 6 calls, with the consortium agreeing to focus on the 2027 calls
- a possible link with the Future Foods partnership, including a call dedicated to research infrastructure
- the mapping of Horizon Europe proposals submitted or planned by the national nodes
- preparation for the next ESFRI Roadmap cycle, expected around 2030, with the emphasis on strengthening the national platforms
The next meeting will take place in person on 23–24 September 2026 at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, hosted by the AgroBioTech Research Centre.
